First Visit

Joining us is like a walk in The Park.

We believe that Jesus is relevant to every person, from every walk of life and background. That is why we have made The Park an open community, and we welcome you to come join us this Sunday to connect with God and connect with some great people.

When does it start?

Our Sunday Services start at 10:30 AM, every Sunday morning. They take place in the auditorium at #1 Brower Drive, Sherwood Park, Alberta. You are welcome to come and join us any time you like. The service will be over by noon.

What’s it like?

Music that is uplifting. Messages that relate to your everyday life. Relationships that are refreshing. This is just some of what you will experience when you visit The Park Church. The music is modern, and you are free to express yourself in worship as you see fit. Messages are Bible based, and full of practical application and engaging illustrations. Our facility is equipped with modern video projection equipment, so if you do not know a song – or do not have a Bible – you can read along on a large, bright screen. Of course, The Park is a great place to get a Bible too!

The atmosphere here is relaxed. We are modeling our church space after a park, because, well, everyone likes to go to the park! Just like a real park, we strive to be a place of Refuge, Refreshing, Relationships, Refinement and Release.

Elements like our Info Centre and The Park Cafè add to this feeling.

Do I have to be from a specific religion to attend?

The Park is a community of Christians and those not yet decided on Christ. You are welcome to join us no matter what stage of your faith journey you find yourself in. Our denomination is the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada, but we have people from many different backgrounds worshipping with us on a given Sunday.
